YCOS-PROJECT SUPPORTS THE YAPHOTO FESTIVAL
YAOUNDE – CAMEROON
From March 13-31 2019

YaPhoto Festival arose from the desire to foster the blooming of new aesthetics arround the modern image of Cameroon, notably the city of Yaoundé.
YaPhoto comitted to promote the inventiveness of the cameroonian artistic scene by spotlighting the exposure of nascent photographers and videographers. Aware of the Image’s stakes and of changes developed by the digital, the festival questions aesthetical and cultural changes of our societies, inflluenced by new shapes of the Image and its spreading.
The artistic direction of the festival is covered by Yves Chatap under the theme of AFTERGLOW
